I had so much fun with these two last week when we met to capture that sweet baby belly of Johanna's! We had been e-mailing for awhile now and I was so excited to finally meet her in person! And Brian too! These two were just so much fun and I couldn't help but smile through their entire session! They were just so sweet and cute and always had me laughing! I always have my clients pick their locations because they always come up with places that are special to them and have some kind of meaning!

I was so beyond excited when Kelly told me the news that she was pregnant! Like, jump up and down and eek out loud kind of excited!! Kelly and I go way back to "Cub-Run Cubbies" days:-) -That was our elementary mascot and all of us can be found chanting "C-C-C-ub, R-R-R-un" whenever you have a group of us together! We were all a pretty tight niche group...

I am just getting these off of my camera as I type but I had to give a quick sneak peek of such a cool maternity session! This was a first for me doing more of a “glam” session but it came out incredible and I loved every minute of it! From a hotel to the Georgetown waterfront, and completely different feels, this couple is just absolutely beautiful no matter where you put them! Here is a quick sneak peek of my session from Saturday that I thought I would share…

I cannot tell you how much fun I had with these two!!  I actually went to high school with both John and Allison and had some of the best times of my life with them!  It had definitely been a couple years since I had seen them but it felt like we just picked up from the last time we saw each other and started laughing and reminiscing from the beginning of the session!  I had so much fun capturing the love between these two and the excitement of growing their family of two to a little family of three!  I am beyond excited for you guys and your little boy, Lucas!  I know you two are going to be amazing parents and I am so honored that I could capture this special time for you all!!!  I can’t wait to meet that sweet little boy of yours:-)  Oh, and Allison, you are amazing, girl!!  I don’t know how many women would be able to rock wearing high heels walking up and down steps, rocks, bridges, and mini-staircases and not to mention, remaining to look absolutely stunning throughout an entire session!! :-)   And you all can see what I’m talking about…does she not look A-MAZING??

I cannot tell you how much fun this gender reveal was! And let me tell you, I am so glad I was behind my camera because I went through a whirlwind of emotions as if I was finding out the gender of my own baby! My eyes would not stop tearing up as I was experiencing all of the happiness, excitement, and joy this news brought to this family. This was my first gender reveal and it was the best experience ever!! Momma-to-be, brought me the envelope the morning of

Not only one of the best parts about my job is getting to meet and photograph so many great people but also being able to photograph your friends. I had such a fun night, with some amazing light I might add, with one of my friends to capture the beautifulness of pregnancy! There is just something special about being a first mommy-to-be and I was so honored to capture such a special time. This session was even more fun and had me on my toes because the parents-to-be were not

I can’t tell you how much fun I had with these two…quite possibly one of my favorite maternity shoots!!  They were up for anything and didn’t think I was too crazy climbing in trees, almost falling in the water, getting on the ground underneath them, and even having them get on swings:-)  We had some great light to work with and some fun props too!  They were such troopers!  This is another shoot that comes with lots of photos…I would post the entire shoot if I could as I love so many of them but here is my attempt at narrowing them down and trying to give a variety!
