A snowy gender reveal…

Before all the snow is melted on the ground today, I thought I would leave you all with a little snowy gender reveal:-)

It may not be the most glamorous session as I was seriously getting blown away in the snow, not to mention the wet snow that was coming down 100 miles a minute in our faces and completely soaking us, but sometimes, it’s not about what you look like…it’s about creating memories that are happening IN THE MOMENT and sometimes, IN THE SPUR OF THE MOMENT when you think of an idea and you have to take advantage of it AT THAT EXACT MOMENT!  And that is exactly what we did…we had the perfect gender reveal!  With some pink and blue cupcake wrappers that we just so happened to have, an amazing husband of a cook that just whipped up some homemade chocolate chip muffins, a winter wonderland coming down in the backyard, a camera worked by once again, my wonderful husband, and a napping toddler but timed perfectly so she could be the grand finale  of cuteness and only have to be out in the cold for a couple of minutes, WE WERE ALL SET!  And I couldn’t think of a better way to share our exciting news with you all!

So here you go…OUR SNOWY GENDER REVEAL…what do you think? ;-)

Oh, and don’t mind my  food coloring hands;-)  I warned you it wasn’t the most glamorous shoot!

So what do you think…

BOY OR GIRL, BOY OR GIRL, BOY OR GIRL, BOY OR GIRL, BOY OR GIRL?

You on the edge of your seat yet?

Okay, enough waiting…here you go:-)

We couldn’t be more excited to share with you that Baby #2 is a……………………

GIRL!  That’s right, another girl for us and we couldn’t be anymore excited that Isla is going to have a sister!!!  And of course, what would our gender reveal be like without our little girl…I think she woke up at the best part of it…the EATING PART!!!  :-)

And she is a very good sharer;-)….And it’s a good thing she is because these were quite possibly some of the best muffins I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

And we ended with two more things…just because we had the materials…(You’d be surprised what you can find laying around your house when you can’t get anywhere) , and to add a little fun AND it made the whole reveal complete!

IT’S A….

In case you missed it before!  :-)

    Kristi,
I agree with KK. The last picture is fabulous and should be framed. Matt did a terrific job of recording the event. Not to mentio. How cute Isla is!!!! For a minute, I thought it might have been twins!!!!
