So, you know those weddings when you are constantly checking the forecast a week in advance and as it gets closer, you are pretty much checking the hourly, and even closer, the radar to see what the day is going to predict?!? Well this was one of those weddings:-) When I looked at the forecast a week in advance, I e-mailed with Kim and told her that because I was writing the e-mail, it wasn’t going to rain but that just in case, we could get some fun accessories to make the best of it! I mean, the forecast was saying 80% thunderstorms, and some that could be severe. Keeping location in mind, anywhere in the south is unpredictable but I knew it wasn’t going to rain on Kim and John’s big day!! And I am so glad I wrote that e-mail because it didn’t!! Wellllll, it held off just in time-maybe a few drizzles at the end of family portraits but then we were inside and ready to party the night away!! Although, the green umbrellas and rockin’ rain boots had ready to go would have been so much fun, the newlywed can make a return because it wasn’t going to rain on her wedding day!! :-)
Kim + John are one of those couples that you just love to stand back and watch! Their love for each other just shines through and is so apparent! They make each other smile, laugh, and most of all, happy!! I had so much fun with these two and their wedding party!! They all braved the colder day than excepted, with almost minimal drizzle, and through it all, they still managed to have a little fun:-) Kim + John, I wish you both all the happiness in the world and that you continue to make each other laugh and smile every day!! We were so honored to be a part of your special day and we hope to see you the next time we are down your way:-) XOXO to you newlyweds…and Kacey too:)
Time to head out for a little first look:-)
